Chris Miller

Since calling to the Bar in 2020, Chris has developed a mixed practice of Criminal and Civil Law having represented clients in the High Court of Justiciary, the Court of Session, and the Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland. He has a particular interest in Criminal Trials, Criminal Appeals, Extradition Proceedings, and Human Rights Law, as well as complex Personal Injury and Reparation cases including Fatal Accidents and Medical Negligence. Additionally, he has a keen interest in Internet Law, including the operation of Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Law, Media Law, as well as Privacy and Data Protection Law in Cyberspace. Prior to calling to the Bar, he graduated from the University of Strathclyde with the degrees of Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws, as well as the Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. He has tutored extensively at the University of Strathclyde, as well as having delivered CPD and Training to academics and practitioners on both historic and contemporary issues in Scots Law.
