General information

Andrew has a busy personal injury practice in the Court of Session and All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court, appearing for both pursuer and defenders. He is regularly instructed in matters involving accidents in the workplace, occupiers’ liability, and in fatal cases.

In 2022, Andrew was appointed as Standing Junior to the Office of Advocate General of Scotland.

Andrew graduated from the University of St Andrews in 1999 with a Master of Arts in Economics. He then trained as an actor, graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art with a Postgraduate Diploma in Acting. 

Andrew went on to have concurrent careers, working as a strategy consultant in the City of London advising large UK and international corporates, whilst also acting professionally. He appeared in a number of films, television programmes and theatrical productions.

Andrew returned to University to study Law, graduating from the University of Edinburgh with the degree of Bachelor of Laws with distinction in 2011 and the Diploma in Legal practise in 2012. He has tutored on a variety of private and public law subjects on the LLB course at Edinburgh.

Andrew undertook a bar traineeship with Simpson and Marwick.
