Themis member Chris Stephen acted as external counsel and produced a contextual literature review on the subject of race and policing for the Sheku Bayoh inquiry. The Inquiry resumes with a standalone block of public hearings to consider the issue of race on Tuesday 4 June 2024. The aim of the literature review is to provide core participants and the public with an overview of themes drawn from previous inquests, reviews and inquiries and research on the subject of race and policing.
