General information

Mark called to the Bar after 12 years as a solicitor.  Since qualifying as a solicitor, Mark pursued a legal career focused on personal injury, clinical negligence, fatal accident inquiries, and healthcare litigation.  His career as a solicitor involved working at Peacock Johnston Solicitors (since merged with Drummond Miller LLP), NHS Central Legal Office (NHS CLO), Medical Protection Society (MPS), and Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland (MDDUS). 

Mark has experience in both pursuing and defending medical negligence and personal injury claims.  Mark also has experience of Inquiry work, having appeared in fatal accident inquiries as a solicitor.

Mark’s primary interests are clinical negligence, professional negligence, FAIs, personal injury, and Inquiries.
