On Monday 3rd June Stable Member Michael Upton have a talk about “Rangers F.C. in the Courts: 2011-2019” explaining the most important 15 of the 70-plus court & tribunal proceedings to which the insolvency of Rangers has given rise over the past decade – in apparently the most complex and litigious bankruptcy since the collapse of the City of Glasgow Bank in 1878.
Kirsty Hood QC was also speaking at the conference. She addressed the delegates on the impact of ‘Brexit’ on jurisdiction issues in contract cases and Graham Middleton provided a case law update concentrating on recent cases in which standard contract terms were judicially considered.
