Alan is a well-known and well-regarded advocate who is highly sought after and prized for his innovative case strategies. He is distinguished for his experience representing petitioners in complex immigration cases.

Alan brings to the stable his experience of cases before the Court of Session and in the Tribunal system, where he has been a Judge of the First Tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) for over 20 years. Over 200 of his cases have led to published decisions. He is a highly experienced litigator.

Alan has been regularly ranked by Chambers & Partners while junior counsel and we have no doubt he will be be equally distinguished as a KC.
