Gerry’s principle practice is in professional disciplinary proceedings. He acts as an Independent Legal Advisor in hearings before professional practice committees for:

Gerry has an active interest in the teaching and development of advocacy. Until recently he was an external examiner in the post graduate LLM programme in Robert Gordon’s University. He has lectured in professional discipline and regulation. He is a member of the board of MiniTrials, an initiative of Lord Kinclaven to introduce young learners to the importance and functioning of the courts system.
