Tumbling Lassie Dances Again
Charity Ball returns: Saturday 28th October 2023, Prestonfield House, Edinburgh
After the enforced break caused by the pandemic, the Faculty’s Tumbling Lassie Committee (chaired by Themis Advocates’ Alan McLean KC) has announced that the fifth Tumbling Lassie Charity Ball will be held on Satuday, 28th October 2023. The Ball is the largest fundraising event in Scotland for charities fighting modern slavery and people trafficking.
The venue is once again the superb Prestonfield House in Edinburgh. Those lucky enough to attend will enjoy a drinks reception (sponsored by the Faculty) at which Prestonfield’s famous “1687” cocktail will be served. This will be followed by a three-course dinner with wine and dancing, plus other live entertainment. The theme this year is black and gold masquerade.
Said Alan: “It is great to be holding our fifth Ball, and the need for the important work that our charities do has only increased since the last one. It should be a most enjoyable and worthwhile evening on every count.”
Tickets, £95 (with a limited number of discounted tickets at £75 for trainee solicitors and those with under 5 years PQE) are available on Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-tumbling-lassie-ball-2023-tickets-601594464237?utm_campaign=post_publish&utm_medium=email&utm_source=eventbrite&utm_content=shortLinkNewEmail
